Game of Thrones Season 6 Episode The Red Woman

No. 601. Title: The Red Woman. Directed by  Jeremy Podeswa. Written by David Benioff & D. B. Weiss. Original air date: April 24, 2016. Sinopse: Jon Snow’s corpse is found by Ser Davos, Edd and a few other loyalists; they take him inside and lock themselves behind a door with him. Later, Thorne assumes command of the Watch. At Winterfell, Ramsay mourns for Myranda, while Sansa and Theon attempt to escape through the woods. Ramsay’s men catch up with them, and are about to take them captive, when Brienne and Pod arrive at the scene, kill the men, and the former is accepted into Sansa’s service. In King’s Landing, Cersei receives Jaime, who arrives with Myrcella’s body. Jaime promises Cersei they will take their revenge. In Dorne, Areo Hotah, Doran and Trystane are betrayed and killed by Ellaria and the Sand Snakes after the former receives news of Myrcella’s death. In Meereen, Tyrion and Varys find all the ships burning in the harbor. Jorah and Daario continue to track Daenerys, who is taken by the Dothraki to Khal Moro, to whom she reveals her identity. In Braavos, Arya lives on the streets as a homeless, where she is beaten by the waif. In her chamber, Melisandre removes her bejeweled necklace as she reveals her true appearance as an old crone, having seemingly lost faith in her god.

At the Wall

Ser Alliser (Owen Teale) convenes the other black brothers and takes responsibility for Jon’s murder, claiming that his deference to the Wildlings would have destroyed the Night’s Watch. Alliser and the other mutineers then surround the store-room and threaten to attack if they don’t open the door by nightfall. Elsewhere, Melisandre, who has been sullen following Stannis’s defeat and Jon’s death, goes to sleep in her bedroom. As she undresses in solitude, the Priestess removes her ruby necklace to reveal a decrepit, haggard, severely aged woman’s body that is much older than her usual appearance. Finally, the Red Woman stares back solemnly at her wrinkled, weathered figure in the rusty mirror, before turning slowly around and stepping frailly into her bed next to the burning fire.

SER ALLISER: Ser Davos, we have no cause to fight. We are both anointed knights.
SER DAVOS: Hear that, lads? Nothing to fear.
SER ALLISER: I will grant amnesty to all brothers who throw down their arms before nightfall. And you, Ser Davos, I will allow you to travel south a free man with a fresh horse.
SER DAVOS: And some mutton. I’d like some mutton.
SER ALLISER: What?
SER DAVOS: I’m not much of a hunter. I’ll need some food if I’m gonna make it south without starving.
SER ALLISER: We’ll give you food. You can bring the Red Woman with you if you like. Or you can leave her here with us, whichever you choose. But surrender by nightfall or this ends with blood.
SER DAVOS: Thank you, Ser Alliser. We’ll discuss amongst ourselves and come back to you with an answer.

SER DAVOS: Boys, I’ve been running from men like that all my life. In my learned opinion, we open that door–
MAN: And they’ll slaughter us all.
MAN: They want to come in, they’re gonna come in.
SER DAVOS: Aye, but we don’t need to make it easy for them.

MAN: Edd is our only chance.
MAN: It’s a sad fucking statement if Dolorous Edd is our only chance.
SER DAVOS: There’s always the Red Woman.
MAN: What’s one redhead gonna do against 40 armed men?
SER DAVOS: You haven’t seen her do what I’ve seen her do.
