In King’s Landing

Cersei arrives at the Sept of Baelor to pay respects to her deceased father, Tywin. Once inside the Sept, she chastises her brother, Jaime, for freeing their brother Tyrion and indirectly causing their father’s death. At Tywin’s wake, Cersei is approached by Lancel Lannister. He has become a devout member of the Sparrows, a religious cult, and asks Cersei’s forgiveness for their adulterous relationship, as well as drugging Robert Baratheon’s wine on the day he died. Cersei denies any knowledge of her husband’s murder, and leaves.

Cersei: He never wanted you to be a kingsguard, but here you are, protecting his dead body.
Jaime: What he built, it’s ours. He built it for us. He meant it for us. They’re going to try to take it away. All of it.
Cersei: They?
Jaime: All of them out there, our enemies. They’re waiting in line to make sure he’s really dead. And as soon as they see the stones on his eyes, they’ll set to work on tearing us apart.
Cersei: They have nothing to do with it.The man who murdered our father, he tore us apart. He’s the enemy. I’ve been telling you for years. You’ve been defending him for years.
Jaime: This is exactly what they want.
Cersei: And now our father is dead and that little monster is out there somewhere drawing breath. Did you set him free? Tyrion may be a monster, but at least he killed our father on purpose. You killed him by mistake. With stupidity. You’re a man of action, aren’t you? When it occurs to you to do something, you do it. Never mind the consequences. Take a look. Look at the consequences. Here they are. He loved you more than anyone in this world.

In the Vale

Lord Petyr Baelish and Sansa Stark watch Lord Robin Arryn struggle while sparring with a young boy. While watching Robin spar, Sansa witnesses Baelish receive a message, which he quickly hides. Lord Yohn Royce has agreed to take Robin as his ward and train him to fight, but is not optimistic of his abilities. Though Baelish told Lord Royce that they would be travelling to the Fingers, Baelish and Sansa head west, with Baelish explaining that he is taking her to a place the Lannisters can never find her.

In Slaver’s Bay

Several Unsullied remove the large gold harpy from the top of the Great Pyramid in Meereen. Later, one of the Unsullied is murdered in a brothel by a member of the Sons of the Harpy, a resistance group operating in Meereen. Daenerys orders Grey Worm to find those responsible, and for the murdered soldier to be buried in the Temple of the Graces. Hizdahr zo Loraq returns to Meereen and declares that his mission to Yunkai has been successful, and that the Wise Masters will turn over power to a council of former slaves and former slave owners. In exchange, the Wise Masters have asked that Daenerys consent to the reopening of the fighting pits, an arena where slaves used to fight to the death. Daenerys denies the request. Later, Daario Naharis convinces her to reconsider, as his youth fighting in the pits gave him the fighting skills necessary for him to join the Second Sons, where he met Daenerys. Daenerys attempts to visit two of her dragons, Viserion and Rhaegal, which she locked underground to prevent them from killing. When she approaches them, they attempt to attack her, forcing her to flee the room.

Daario: You’re the queen. Everyone’s too afraid of you to speak truth. Everyone but me. You’ve made thousands of enemies all across the world. As soon as they see weakness, they’ll attack. Show your strength here, now.
Daenerys: I have the unsullied patrolling the streets.
Daario: Anyone with a chest full of gold can buy an army of unsullied. You’re not the mother of unsullied. You’re the mother of dragons.
Daenerys: I don’t want another child’s bones dropped at my feet. No one’s seen Drogon in weeks. For all I know, he’s flown halfway across the world. I can’t control them anymore.
Daario: A dragon queen with no dragons is not a queen.
